Intuitive to operate
The PLR 25's plainly laid out keypad and clearly marked keys make it especially easy to use. Each measuring function has been specifically assigned to a differrent key. Pressing the menu key switches the device on and starts length measuring mode straight away.
The mode selection key enables users to choose between the length, area, volume or continuous measurement modes, while another key allows them to select whether they want to use the front or the rear edge as the reference edge from which measurements are started.
The plus and minus keys can be used to add measurements together or subtract one from another. This allows the surface areas of multiple walls to be added up easily and accurately, for example, in order to calculate how much paint will be needed to cover an entire room.
The 1.4-inch color display makes it possible for DIYers to view the results of measurements quickly and easily. The compact design of the PLR 25 means that the laser measure can fit into any trouser pocket, while its soft-grip covering ensures that the device is easy to handle.
