• For use on professional TIG welding machines (typically AC/DC machines), where:
• Operator is using a foot pedal / foot controller
• Light weight, flexible and slimline torch is preferred for maximum dexterity & control
• Valve, switch & other controls on the torch head are NOT required, as all controls/adjustments are made via the foot pedal
• Other Specifications
• TK17 series: 150 amp max capacity: suitable for use with tungsten electrodes up to 2.4mm, and for welding materials up to approx' 3mm thickness
• Suits most TIG welders that have foot control function, including AC/DC and professional DC-only machines
• Suits all Weldclass / Weldforce AC/DC TIG machines
• Not recommneded for use with 'basic' TIG welders that do not have integrated gas line or pedal/foot control*
• For this application, use Weldclass 17FV or 26FV series torches, which have valved head and extended gas hose with 5/8" female fitting for connection to gas bottle/regulator.
